Throwers Cage 2007
December 3, 2007
  •  Eric Malmstrom M75, a long time member of the Throwers Club as well as the original Latvian Club, passed away on December 2, 2007.  He brought a great sense of humour & enthusiasm to every meet.  The Throwers Club medal was his design & over the years he donated many trophies & plaques to the Club.  This past season he had been working hard on improving his technique in all throwing events not just his favourite one, the javelin.  In the final meet of the season he got back over the 30m mark in javelin with a season best of 30.02m & was looking forward to next season as well as working towards the Worlds in Finland in 2009.  He will be greatly missed by all & our sincerest condolences to his wife & family on this terrible loss.
